Over the last two years, DTSB has been part of big wins that deserve to be celebrated! Here are a few highlights:

• Since 2022 we've welcomed 31 new businesses, 52% are women or minority-owned.
• 15 long-vacant buildings are now under local ownership and are being redeveloped.
• New housing developments will add over 400 residential units.
• Our signature events enjoyed record-breaking attendance and drew tens of thousands of people downtown the past two years for First Fridays, Art Beat, Downtown for the Holidays, and more.
• Partnering with Mural Mania, we dramatically increased public art with the addition of 13 new large-scale murals.
• For many years, getting dedicated police patrols downtown was the #1 request from businesses and residents. And DTSB got it done. The new, dedicated patrols have clocked over 2,000 hours keeping the heart of our city safer, building relationships with business owners, and giving residents, employees, and visitors a greater feeling of peace and security about the place they live, work, and play in.
• Among cities our size, DTSB has been a leader by creating the position of Outreach Ambassador, a dedicated social service worker who treads where most people won't go in order to connect directly with people experiencing chronic homelessness. We've helped dozens of people reconnect with family and access life-changing and life-saving services including, housing, employment, and mental health care.
